Sources & interpretation
Records retain source-specific units, release clocks and revision information where available. Different vintages, forecasts and observations should not be treated as a continuous comparable series.
Argentina does not have one comparable scalar target across the backtest. The 11 regime records separate the pre-2016 monetary-aggregate period, the LEBAC transition and target, the 7-day repo-corridor midpoint, the administered 7-day LELIQ rate, the October 2018 base-money regime with endogenous daily LELIQ auctions, the 2020-21 LELIQ floor/auction statistic, the 28-day LELIQ rate, the overnight passive-repo rate, the Treasury LEFI rate, and the post-10-July-2025 monetary-aggregate regime with no policy rate. Of 326 daily changes, 259 are auction-outcome changes and are never labeled as decisions.
The official current communications index exposed 67 pages. Those pages support 48 decisions, 6 separate 2019 COPOM base-money/rate-floor framework records, and 6 release-level unanimous vote summaries. They do not establish member-level choices. No public meeting minutes or complete advance historical date calendars were captured; two retrospective calendar-rule records are retained. The official rate series contains 35 comparable-regime changes without a captured indexed decision release; their exact dates remain in unmatched_comparable_rate_changes.csv and are not promoted to decisions.
