Sources & interpretation

Records retain source-specific units, release clocks and revision information where available. Different vintages, forecasts and observations should not be treated as a continuous comparable series.

- 11 Monetary Policy Statements from 22 January 2025 through 3 September 2026: 10 holds and one 25 basis point cut on 9 July 2025. - Three dated forecast releases from 28 July 2025 through 14 August 2026, yielding six annual ranges: three GDP and three headline CPI observations. - Supporting evidence includes the 101-page *Economic and Monetary Review 2025* PDF and the official MPC schedule page. - The statements retain qualitative indicators for growth, inflation, labour, exchange-rate, credit, and policy-stance language. These booleans are text-presence signals, not magnitudes or probabilities.

The pages contain exact BNM embargo clocks. Monetary Policy Statements normally use 15:00 Asia/Kuala_Lumpur; the 8 May 2025 page prints 1503, which is preserved as the native value while the effective clock is corrected to 15:00 using BNM's official schedule. Forecast releases use their printed 10:00 or 12:00 local embargo times.
