This package preserves the official [August 2026 monthly DMP release](https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/decision-maker-panel/2026/august-2026), its monthly limited-series workbook, and the quarterly all-questions workbook linked by the [July 2026 release](https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/decision-maker-panel/2026/july-2026). The exact HTML release pages, workbook bytes, HTTP response headers, retrieval clocks, and hashes are stored under data/candidates/boe_dmp_v8/raw and described by acquisition_manifest.json.

Sources & interpretation
Records retain source-specific units, release clocks and revision information where available. Different vintages, forecasts and observations should not be treated as a continuous comparable series.
The normalized candidate contains 50 monthly series covering CPI expectations, Bank Rate expectations, wages, employment, sales/output, own-price growth, unit costs, borrowing rates, and subjective/overall uncertainty. The quarterly workbook is preserved and schema-validated but not normalized because its repeated cross-sectional question blocks require a separate reviewed contract.
The August release page proves a publication date of 4 September 2026 but provides no time of day. The monthly snapshot is therefore made available only at the conservative end of that publisher-local day: 2026-09-04T22:59:59.999999+00:00 (Europe/London). The July quarterly release uses the same rule for 24 July 2026. These are current retrospective workbooks; earlier observations are not assigned their historical survey-release dates. A cutoff before the snapshot release returns no monthly candidate rows.
