Records retain source-specific units, release clocks and revision information where available. Different vintages, forecasts and observations should not be treated as a continuous comparable series.
The IMF built this workbook specifically to expose forecasts from each WEO publication. Season-end clocks are conservative proxies because exact release days are not embedded in the file. Strict canonical backtesting remains disabled until the historical correction policy is reviewed. The isolated research profile may test the data with the conservative clocks, but it cannot promote a model or revise the canonical score.
